hmm...podcast downloads in 2 seconds and does not play. maybe there is something wrong with my internet. :(

  2. Melanie |

    Yeah, there's a problem -- I'm working on it.

  3. Melanie |

    Aaand it's fixed!

And Melanie...once again, if you're going to edit out parts where we make fun of you (i.e., your tendancy to eat frozen foods unthawed), you must also edit out the later comments that refer to what we were making fun of you about! "Frozen fishsticks" becomes a total non-sequiter.

  5. Melanie |

Oh, sweetie, after all the editing I had to do for this ep, a single non sequitur just doesn't even rate.

And it's one of the benefits of being the producer that I can edit out badly outdated (I haven't had a tater tot, cooked or uncooked, since the last century) or completely false (I have never, EVER eaten still-frozen fish sticks, much less eaten them in the store) information from the show, tra la.

  6. Melanie |

Also, the show was running damn close to an hour, so I had to make a cut somewhere, hence my removal of that frankly slanderous section.

    Buzz up!

$10 million worth. That's a lot of pot.

The safety inspection for a tractor trailer pulled over on Monday turned out to be a real doozie. Or is that doobie?

Illinois State Police say that more than a ton of pot was found hidden in the back of the semi after being pulled over for an inspection near Bloomington, Ill., on Interstate 55.

The more than 100 bundles of marijuana, worth about $10 million, was found hidden in a load of paper products in the truck's trailer, State Police Lt. Fred Winterroth said.

The driver, from Tucson, Ariz., is being questioned, but hasn't been formally charged. A passenger riding in the truck's cab was not detained by police.

Patrick does not indulge in Michael Phelps -- it would damage his instrument.

A nice white zinfandel, on the other hand...

I bet he would indulge in the Michael Phelps ;)

I'm afraid I'm with Mr. Kevin Bee on the Michael Phelps front...

  13. Melanie |

Patrick, honey, I think Kevin Bee and Anonymous are talking about two different things when they refer to "Michael Phelps."
