Just listened and it was great as usual. I needed the laugh. Sorry my e-mail was so long. I didn't realize. But thank you for taking the time to answer my questions and listen to my suggestions.

Patrick, my apologies, I didn't mean to offend or imply anything, I just wanted your thoughts on the genre.

Hope you all have a good week.

There you go, Pat, driving away listeners AGAIN.

CJ, your email was perfectly fine, and not nearly as long as some of the voicemails we've gotten. Patrick wasn't offended -- that would assume that he has feelings in the first place -- but he just doesn't *do* anime or manga so asking him to chime in about Yaoi is like asking Dick Cheney to give an opinion about the Geneva Convention -- he's heard of it, but it just doesn't apply to him. (YOW!).

Thanks Melanie! I was a little worried.

Don't worry, nothing will chase me away. I'm liking the podcast way too much. :-)

CJ, if you're looking for educated opinions on yaoi, try the Anime World Order podcast or The Ninja Consultant podcast. Clarissa (AWO) & Erin (Ninja) are extremely knowledgeable on the subject and have given several excellent panels at major or minor cons.

On the other hand, for non-Otaku enthusiasm... you'd be better off asking Taffy from Pod is My Co-Pilot

Is it my imagination, or did we just get dissed?

Ok, I did the assignment Mel,Pat and Jer made me do.

Kimichi is right....but other helpful sites for yaoi are

    www.sexisushi

    www.whatsundermykimono

    www.Icantbelieveitsnotboybutter

    and last but not least

    www.thisaintbatmanroundeye

But we thank Kimichi for her excellent input. The inner chambers of our cold, dead hearts are warmed by listeners helping out fellow listeners.

How about those White Sox, huh? Mark Buehrle is the MAN.

I hadn't looked at the links yet. Three are broken and the fourth...well lets just say it doesn't quite match the subject.

Kimichi, thanks for the podcast suggestions.

When it comes to Stacy's research, please remember that this is the woman who did the remote report from Stephen King's mansion when Stephanie Meyer's fans stormed the place and flung forks at it. I.e. take it with a rather hefty grain of salt, since it's usually done for comedic purposes.

If you find you have a yaoi, apply disinfectant and a band aid. If it looks like it's infected, please see a doctor.

Hey, my bad, I didn't realize she was kidding.

Patrick does your head hurt now?
